Забіг “Шаную воїнів, біжу за героїв України” – щорічна патріотична традиція вшанування пам’яті воїнів, які загинули під час російсько-української війни, приурочена до Дня пам'яті загиблих захисників України.

Цьогорічний забіг відбудеться у суботу, 31 серпня о 11:00 ранку біля Капітолію штату Техас (1100 Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78701). Це вже сьомий забіг, і вперше він відбудеться в Остіні. Організаторами заходу в Остіні є відділ 147 Української Національної Жіночої Ліги Америки (UNWLA).

Подія безкоштовна, але реєстрація обов’язкова, щоб надрукувати індивідуальні надписи з іменами героїв. Пробіг буде короткий, навколо Капітолію.

Запрошуємо всіх долучитися до ініціативи Мінветеранів у співпраці з Міністерством молоді та спорту України. Кожен учасник може пробігти з іменем Героя, який віддав життя за територіальну цілісність України, і вшанувати його пам'ять.

The annual run "I Honor Warriors, I Run for the Heroes of Ukraine" is a patriotic tradition to commemorate the soldiers who lost their lives during the Russian-Ukrainian war, held in honor of the Day of Remembrance for Ukraine's fallen defenders.

This year’s run will take place on Saturday, August 31st, at 11:00 am at the Texas Capitol (1100 Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78701). This will be the seventh run overall, and the first time it is being hosted in Austin. The organizers of the event in Austin are the Ukrainian National Women's League of America (UNWLA).

The event is free, but registration is required to print personalized names of the heroes for each participant. The run will be a short route around the Capitol.

We invite everyone to join this initiative from the Ministry of Veterans in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. Each participant can run with the name of a Hero who gave their life for the territorial integrity of Ukraine and honor their memory.
